Meet the Founder

Antoinette Alexander-Sarpong is the CEO of ANTOINETTE ALEXANDER INC., a luxury brand of fashion and beauty products. She is also an international makeup artist and image consultant with over 20 years of skin care and cosmetics industry sales, marketing and project management experience. Antoinette's expertise with color as well as being a gifted artist have endowed her with the knowledge to easily work with the many skin care and cosmetics brands in the industry.

Parfumerie Douglas, one of Europe's largest cosmetic and fragrance companies with over 900 stores across Europe and the United States entered into a three-year contract with Antoinette as their National Makeup Artist for the U.S. She educated, demonstrated and conducted workshops with Parfumerie Douglas clients at their four key U.S. locations (New York City, Westport Connecticut, Greenwich Connecticut, and Washington D.C) with a record of significantly increasing their volume of sales.

Gerda Spillmann is a prestigious Swiss Skin Care & Cosmetics line based in Zurich, Switzerland. Antoinette received an international endorsement as the face and spokesperson for the launching of their new Bio-Fond Cream foundation for women of color.

Antoinette's expertise with color and being a gifted artist have endowed her with the knowledge to easily work with the many cosmetics brands in the industry such as MAC, L'Oreal, Chanel, Dior, Estee Lauder, Lanc6me, Bobbie Brown, Clarins, Shiseido, Yves Saint Laurent, Clinique, La Prairie, Cover Girl, Max Factor, and Maybelline. Her certifications include Emory University: Certified Stage and Screen Make-up Artist, Atlanta Ga.; Specialized training with Dina Ousley, inventor of Dinair Air Brush Make-up System; Arnold International University of Cosmetology, Atlanta GA, Licensed Esthetician; and American Cancer Society, Certified Image Consultant for the "Look Good, Feel Good" Program.

• Publications and Television: Acknowledged and quoted in the French edition of "Vogue Hommes " Magazine, her work has appeared in such publications as US News & World Report, GQ, Ebony Magazine, ESSENCE, and Black Enterprise. Antoinette has an extensive background in the fashion industry both as a designer and a senior sales executive, with a unique ability to train and excite store managers to increase sales. She has worked in the buying, management, and merchandising divisions for women, men and children retail clothing for Macy's, where her efforts directly resulted in tripling of the department sales, and for 10 straight weeks, was the top sales manager. Antoinette designed a successful couture collection under the ANTOINETTE ALEXANDER label for fashion shows.

Antoinette has a broad range of experience in the media field, having spent over 10 years in the television, film and print industries. She has worked for CNN, CNN International and CNN Spanish, including assignments for TV Asahi (Japan), Soviet Union Television and Africast TV

In her role as CEO of Antoinette Associates,, a lifestyle change & image consulting company, she has amassed an impressive client list over the past 20 years which includes Unilever, Ritz Carlton (Singapore), Coca-Cola, TBS, Phillip Morris, Procter & Gamble, General Motors, and the Atlanta Committee for the 1996 Olympic Games. Antoinette teams up with experts in the areas of image enhancement and health/wellness to provide her clients with a superb service.

Antoinette received her B.A. degree with honors in Fashion Design & Human Resources from Spelman College, Atlanta, Georgia.

Antoinette believes that we never stop learning. "I have learned throughout my life and travels, that each person is a messenger. There is always more to learn from each other. When you ask, be ready to receive. You have to tune in, be attentive, and you will receive. No matter what the age, color, or gender, there will always be teachers". Antoinette practices the same regimen that she proposes to her clients, which includes long walks for de-stressing, yoga, dancing, and Nia.

Family is very important to Antoinette, and she applies that principle to her clients, treating them as an extended family.
